Evy Schubert got educated as a photographer at "Spéos Paris Photographic Institute" (Paris) and holds a BA in communication and social sciences (University of Erfurt) as well as a MA in theatre sciences (Freie Universität Berlin). Schubert, living and working in Berlin, is a conceptual artist initiating artistic and scientific research projects, working as a director for film, photography and theatre projects. Evy Schubert has worked as an assistant director for various theatres such as Volksbuehne Berlin. Her film projects include the documentary Vodopad, a search for the sound of peace in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Vodopad was premiered in Berlin in 2010.
